Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Clinical Talent (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a specialist recruitment agency serving the pharmaceutical, life sciences and clinical industry. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights.

1. What personal information we collect

Depending on your relationship with us, we may collect:

2. How we collect it

3. Why we collect and use it

4. Disclosure

We may disclose personal information to prospective employers (where we present you as a candidate, only with your knowledge), referees you nominate, service providers who help us operate under confidentiality obligations, and authorities where required or authorised by law. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Overseas storage

Some of the tools we use to run our business store or process data on servers located outside Australia (for example, in the European Union). We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the APPs.

6. Direct marketing and how to opt out

We may send you information about roles, candidates, or our services where it is relevant to your professional role. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You can opt out at any time by replying with “unsubscribe” or emailing us at the address below, and we will action your request within 5 business days.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including access controls and secure storage. If a data breach likely to cause serious harm occurs, we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

8. Access, correction and retention

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and securely dispose of it when no longer required.

9. Automated processing

We may use software tools to help organise and assess candidate information (for example, parsing resumes). A person always reviews decisions that materially affect you; we do not reject candidates on an automated score alone.

10. Complaints and contact

If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your personal information, contact us:
